LaRue is a lovely little French import out of 2 Intervention/Detection K9s with a power packed pedigree of KNPV, French Ring, Mondio Ring and IPO titled ancestors at the highest level (PH2, FR3, MR3, IPO3, FH2).
She is a granddaughter of Eture van her Itterdal PHI IPOII MRII FHII FCI FH (Military Working Dog) and great-granddaughter to KNPV Nat’l CH Nico van Neerland PHII (both on her father's side). Her mother’s side is IPO3 and FR3 heavy with Havrevingens and Crocs de l’Olympe lines and she is also the granddaughter of the CACS Nationale d’Elevage 2011 (Beauty Champion of France) Eole des Crocs de l’Olympe FR2.
LaRue finished her breed championship with a bang in 2016 being awarded Reserve BEST IN SHOW over Champions and Grand Champions! She is a multiple HIGH-in-TRIAL winning nosework competitor who has earned the prestigious ELITE NOSEWORK title (a combination of 30 individual nosework titles) and was inducted into the UKC Nosework Hall of Fame in 2022.
LaRue also enjoys dock jumping, rally obedience and bitework too!

LaRue is certified as a Narcotics Detection Dog (Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamine and MDMA (methylenedioxymethamphetamine, commonly known as Ecstasy), although she no longer performs this job function.
This is the hardest dogsport title I have ever earned as the EN represents 30 lesser titles rolled into one! It takes a minimum of 45 shows to earn these 30 titles (and it probably took us 60 shows to earn). Of the 168 titles I have put on my dogs since I started competing in 1982, this is definitely the one I am most proud of. Thank you LaRue!!!!
The UKC nosework program began in 2017 and LaRue was the three-hundred fifty-eighth dog to earn the Elite Nosework title, which is a combination of 30 individual nosework titles.
LaRue excels in obedience as well, and completed her Rally Obedience 3 title just 2 weeks before the country shut down due to Covid-19 in March 2020. Although showing resumed over one year later, I decided to retire LaRue from Rally Obedience competition rather than work towards a Rally Championship.
LaRue loves dock jumping and is especially happy as we have a competition dock jumping pool here at the kennel (right in her own backyard)!

LaRue enjoys bitework too!

LaRue did especially well considering she has only had 3 bitework sessions in the last 18 months (due to covid restrictions).
