"LaBelle" is one of "Rush's" babies, and oh what a baby! We co-own LaBelle with Jackie Marshall, who loves, shows and trains LaBelle.
LaBelle holds a special place in our hearts as she represents the first generation of Dutch Shepherds bred by Cher Car Kennels, is our first home bred Champion and also our first Grand Champion. She was the third Dutch Shepherd in the country to achieve the Grand Champion distinction and was undefeated (in breed) during her 5 year conformation career. LaBelle was ranked in the UKC TOP TEN Breed & Dog Standings for Dutch Shepherds for an unmatched 5 year period from 2006 through 2010 (#3-2006, #1-2007, #2-2008, #2-2009, #1-2010).
LaBelle went on to produce the UKC’s first BEST IN SHOW winning Dutch Shepherd (ROM-XX BIMBS CH Cher Car’s Roja Caliente aka “Cayenne”).
She also excelled on the protection field, titling in the UKC's Dog Sport protection dog program and earning the UKC “Total Dog” distinction along the way. Above and beyond all of this, LaBelle was a wonderful family companion and protector.
