Chanel is a very beautiful and multi-talented girl who represents the third generation of our Cher Car Kennels bred Dutch Shepherds.  Chanel is a two time NATIONAL CHAMPION, having been named the NATIONAL GRAND CHAMPION at the 2017 Dutch Shepherd Dog Club of America National Specialty Show and also having earned the Ultimate Air Dogs 2017 National MASTER ELITE FETCH IT Championship!   

Chanel is the daughter of ROM-XX BIMBS CH Cher Car's Roja Caliente (Cayenne) who was the first Dutch Shepherd to be awarded Best in UKC Show or Best in UKC Multi Breed Show.  Chanel earned her breed GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP in 2016, following in the footsteps of her GRCH grandmother “Labelle”, and was awarded NATIONAL GRAND CHAMPION at the 2017 Dutch Shepherd Dog Club of America National Specialty Show.

Chanel is very social and appropriate with other animals (she lives with a German Shepherd, a Parson Russell Terrier and a houseful of colorful exotic birds).  She is titled in Agility, Rally Obedience, Nosework, Lure Coursing and Dock Jumping (she earned her Grand Championship in Dock Jumping in July 2015 and her Ultimate Fetch-It Championship in 2017) and has earned multiple TOTAL DOG AWARDS (for conformation and performance wins at the same show). 

Chanel is also passing along this TOTAL DOG ability to her offspring, having produced Multiple High-in-Trial Reserve-Best-in-Show winning Champion offspring titled extensively in nosework who are also beginning to compete in dock jumping.  The Dutch Shepherd Dog Club of America reports that Chanel is now the Number 5 Top Producing Dutch Shepherd Dam according to records compiled by the United Kennel Club based on progeny titles earned.
